**About the Role**

Mini Wonderland Early Learning Centre is seeking an experienced and passionate Diploma Toddler Room Leader to join our team starting in **August** on a **full-time 8-month maternity leave contract**, with the potential to transition into a permanent role. Based at our Waitara centre, you’ll lead the toddler room and support the growth and development of our young learners in a warm, nurturing environment.

**What You'll Be Doing**
- Oversee the daily operations and programming of the toddler room, ensuring a high standard of care and learning
- Lead, mentor, and support one team member, encouraging professional growth and a positive team culture
- Plan and implement engaging experiences that support toddlers’ physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment aligned with centre policies and the EYLF
- Communicate effectively with families and provide regular updates on each child’s progress
- Collaborate with the centre leadership team to drive continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, frameworks, and standards

**What We’re Looking For**
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or currently working towards)
- At least one year Experience as a Room Leader in a childcare setting
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- A genuine passion for early childhood education
- Willingness to be flexible and adapt to business requirements
- Current First Aid certificate (including HLTAID004 or HLTAID012)
- Working with Children Check clearance

Pay: $33.00 - $36.00 per hour
