**ABOUT THE **ROLE**:
**Summary of the role**:Werribee Mercy Hospital is a public hospital located in the rapidly growing western suburbs of Melbourne.We currently have a career opportunity for a qualified and experienced Patient Services Assistant to join

the Environmental Services Department management team.You will be required to work full time and on 2 days of the week be in-charge of the Environmental Services team.
- Based at Werribee Mercy Hospital.
- Full time position, 80 hours a fortnight.
- Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday working as a Patient Services Assistant.
- Saturday & Sunday, In-charge of the Environmental Services team, providing support services throughout the hospital.
- Shift time 15.00- 23.30pm.
- Rostered ADO once a month.
- Job satisfaction in a busy and fast paced work environment.

**ABOUT YOU:
- A Certificate 3 Health Services, or equivalent, or working towards completing.
- Current Food Handling Certificate.
- Previous experience being in-charge of staff.
- Proven ability to supervise and train staff to achieve appropriate standards.
- Excellent customer service skill and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to show initiative and work within a team environment.
- Highly developed verbal and written skills.
- Commitment to staff development.
- A commitment to policies & procedures in order to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff and members of the public.
