ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Transporter will be an integral member of our hospital team and will assist with transporting patients throughout the hospital, and will support our ward Patient Services Assistants.Permanent Full time position available.- Monday to Friday shifts available.- Day shift/Afternoon shifts available.- Located at Werribee Mercy Hospital.
ABOUT YOU:
Health Services Assistant Certificate 3, or working towards obtaining.- Current Food Handling Certificate.- Previous experience in Healthcare desirable.- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for attention to detail.- Demonstrated ability to show initiative and work within a team environment.- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.- A commitment to policies and procedures in order to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff and members of the public.
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
- A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.- Current COVID-19 certificate, proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
