Are you a skilled painter with a knack for initiative and a positive outlook?

Ahotels is currently seeking a professional painter to join our team at 57 Hotel in Surry Hills, conveniently located just minutes away from Central Station.

As we continue to expand over the next two years, there are ample opportunities for personal and professional growth. We're searching for individuals with a can-do attitude who are eager to evolve alongside us.

Reporting directly to the Management Team, you will play a vital role in refurbishing and maintaining accommodation rooms and public areas.

**Tasks & Responsibilities**:

- Proficient in brush, spray, and roller painting techniques
- Accurately match paint colours according to the predetermined formula or specifications
- Seal, undercoat, and topcoat walls, ceilings, doors, and door frames
- Repair and patch holes and cracks in doors and walls, preparing surfaces for painting
- Select appropriate paint or mix paints according to specifications
- Comfortable and trained working at heights, including painting gutters, downpipes, and high-set buildings
- Erect, dismantle, and manage basic scaffolding for painting activities
- Perform various plaster repairs and prepare areas for painting
- Complete and manage paperwork flow
- Undertake miscellaneous ad-hoc tasks unrelated to painting

**To be Successful in this Role, You Will Have**:

- Minimum of 3 years of previous experience in construction, painting, and maintenance work
- Ability to follow precise instructions and effectively manage time in service delivery
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and other team members
- Commitment to and understanding of OSH&E procedures and standards
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Valid white card
- Current Open Driver License
