- 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday
- Position Located in Laverton North

With over 23 years in business, they service the east coast of Australia with bulk freight, general freight, container transport and shipping services. Due to continued growth, they now require an experienced Allocator to support the operations team.

Key responsibilities will include:

- The effective and safe allocation and scheduling of deliveries and pickups for a fleet of approximately 12 trucks to and from the depot to the wharves, maximizing efficiency and customer service levels.
- Liaising with drivers and other staff on operational issues.
- Booking wharf timeslots with all Melbourne wharves using 1 Stop.
- Manage bookings through Freight 2020 for import and export containers to and from the wharves.
- Manage bookings through the Containerchain system for hiring and de-hiring empty containers to and from empty container parks.
- Monitor daily driver hours to ensure compliance with fatigue management legislation.
- Experience using 1 Stop and Containerchain.
- Experience with Freight 2020 would be ideal, however not essential.
- Sound knowledge of COR and Fatigue Management.
- Proven ability to communicate with drivers.

A salary package will be negotiated commensurate with experience, a Ute, Fuel Allowance and E Tag form part of the salary package. There is no requirement to work on weekends.
