Network Aviation is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Qantas Group, providing high capacity air charter and RPT services. We operate a fleet of jet aircraft. From our base at Perth Airport, we specialise in mining industry support, regional airline services, routine and emergency freight and corporate charter flying. Managing a team, the Ground Services Shift Supervisor is responsible for managing the delivery of Ground Operations across the Network Aviation business. In this role you will drive an employee performance culture through direct responsibility for the development of a high performing team of Ground Operations employees. This will include ensuring performance reviews are conducted, formal case management and absence management processes are followed, training needs are identified, and staff development is managed. You’ll have: - Proven supervisory experience, preferably gained in an operational environment - Strong operational experience and knowledge - Highly developed people leadership skills including performance management, coaching, mentoring and development - Demonstrated commitment to a continuous improvement philosophy and the provision of a high level of service to stakeholders - Flexible and communicative approach to working with all stakeholders - Initiative and a 'can-do" attitude - A positive and proactive approach to problem solving and the capacity to produce results within a given time-frame - The ability to use all computer and communication equipment necessary to perform the role including Microsoft Word and Excel - Excellent communication skills both verbal and written - The ability to work a 7-day rotational roster spanning a 24 hour operation Why Qantas?
