**About the Opportunity**
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the **Health Information Services** team as a** Patient Master Index (PMI) Coordinator,**where you will be responsible for:
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and maintenance of the Patient Master Index (PMI) to support integrated, safe care.
- Oversee the collection of key client demographic data to enable high-quality health record management.
- Develop and review policies and procedures for patient registration and data integrity.
- Deliver staff training and support on PMI systems and processes.
- Monitor data quality, generate reports, and advise on future patient information needs.
- Lead a high-performing, responsive patient registration service across the organisation.
**About You**
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently and professionally across all levels while maintaining discretion and confidentiality
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- A flexible, proactive, and positive approach, with proven ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently
- Experience with quality improvement methodologies and a commitment to driving continuous improvement
- Confidence in initiating, implementing, and evaluating changes to work practices to enhance service delivery
- Proficiency in using a range of databases and systems to support the accurate and effective management of patient information
