The Thales CMATS Training Development Manager is a member of the Civil Military Air Traffic System (CMATS) Training.

The role shall provide specialist training management, analysis, product development, training delivery management and training advice.

**Responsibilities**
- Lead the CMATS Training Development Team during the development and delivery of the CMATS Training System deliverables.
- Support the conduct of CMATS related activities including leading key stakeholder workshops, developing efficient and effective training solutions.
- Steer / influence the development of relevant technical and operational training products, and ensure training remains consistent with product development.
- Support the conduct of training needs analysis related activities including leading key stakeholder workshops, developing efficient and effective training solutions. Specifically lead the Thales CMATS Project Instructional Design Team.
- Assist in the selection of staff for development as competent and qualified instructional designers to meet the training requirements.
- Lead the Training and Assessment System Analyse Phase to conduct a Training Needs Analysis to determine the training and assessment solution.
- Monitor and control all training costs under direct control to ensure any project budget is not exceeded.

**Essential Skills**
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Training Design and Development.
- Professional leadership.
- Working as part of a team in complex, technology-based projects.
- Prior experience in Training Design within a Technology related industry.

**Desirable Skills**
- Working within an Airservices Australia/Defence environment.
- Prior experience Defence SADL framework.
- Prior experience with product specific training supported by engineering traceability
- Developing eLearning resources for adult learning programs, using Captivate, Articulate or similar.
- Training delivery via technology based and ILT training solutions.
