- Ensuring that all employees follow company policies and procedures, including safety procedures and sexual harassment laws.
- Conducting interviews with potential employees to determine their qualifications for specific positions.
- Maintaining quality control of the motel facility by inspecting rooms for cleanliness and comfort level.
- Interviewing guests to determine if they will be suitable renters for the motel.
- Managing staff, including hiring, firing, scheduling shifts, and training new employees.
- Establishing and enforcing rules for customer conduct in motel facilities.
- Training staff on how to handle issues related to customer complaints or problems.
- Ensuring the safety of guests by making sure that security measures are in place to prevent theft or other crimes.
- Overseeing the financial performance of the property by monitoring occupancy rates, revenue generation, and expenses.
