Government Agency seeking a Contract and Commercial Manager for a 12 month assignment (Western Suburbs)

**Your new company**
This well-known Government Department requires a Contract and Commercial Manager to join their team at a great rate of pay. This governmental institution has the mission of developing inclusive, sustainable, vibrant communities. This job is located in Sydney’s Western Suburbs.

**Your new role**
In your new position, you will be:

- Sourcing and managing potential suppliers
- Preparing commercial documentation for review
- Analysing and reporting of key suppliers and current market trends
- Negotiating contracts with vendors and suppliers
- Responsible for the management of assigned supplier performance against standard requirements.
- Coaching and mentoring the Program team and contributing to the overall growth of the capability of the team

**What you'll need to succeed**
In order to be considered for this role you will need to have industry experience with demonstrated sourcing experience. You will have experience in supplier negotiations and analysis reporting. You will have excellent stakeholder engagement skills and experience working in a fast paced, collaborative working environments.

**What you'll get in return**
In return you will get an immediately available 12 month temporary role working within a dynamic and supportive team in the Western Suburbs. You will be working 40 hours a week (on a very attractive rate of pay).
