**RAISEBORE DRILLER**

**Location**: Papua, Indonesia

**Rotation**: 8 weeks on, 4 weeks off

**Shift Length**: 12 hours

**Compensation**: Redpath offers a comprehensive wage and benefit package

**Travel**: Flights provided from point of hire to job site

**Conditions of Employment**:Successful completion of pre-employment medical and substance abuse test

**Accommodations**: Camp setting

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
1. Operate Raisebore machine safely according to the worksheet

2. Identify ground changes and faults, and readjust drilling practices to ensure accurate Raisebore holes

3. To train and evaluate PTRI Indonesian nationals in all aspects relating to Raisebore Drilling in underground environment. To instill a safe and productive culture, support and knowledge into all national trainees. Provide on the job and off the job training to my subordinates

4. The ability to enhance national trainees’ stronger points and to help him with his weaker points for the betterment of his training.

5. To encourage all employee in your working area to be safe and productive manner while instructing all trainees in the same philosophy.

6. Promote a harmonious working environment

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:
1. Minimum 5 years’ experience in underground mining

2. In-depth knowledge of all facets of Raiseboring methods,

3. Basic observational knowledge of underground equipment.

4. General understanding or underground mine services deliver systems (Air, water, etc)

5. Must be able to read and interpret Mechanical, Hydraulic and electrical schematics related to the type of equipment being worked on.

6. The ability to work, motivate and understand the needs of a multinational workforce.

7. Raisebore knowledge:

- Identify proper bit usage for ground conditions
- Proper pressure to be used for optimum penetration, accuracy and bit life.
- Identify damage to drill string, fatigued drill string parts and change out as required.

Pay: From $270,000.00 per year
