Overview

Surface and Underground Diamond Drillers - WA

HMR is a national contractor providing underground and surface drilling, mining and raiseboring services to clients across Australia.

We are currently seeking Surface and Underground Diamond Drillers to join our team for work in Western Australia.

If you are a highly motivated and enthusiastic self-starter, we want to hear from you These roles are full-time positions based on long-term contracts.

The Role

- Residential Kalgoorlie or FIFO from Perth
- Underground and surface work available
- Full-time permanent positions
- Competitive hourly rates & bonuses

Requirements of the role

- Competently operate HMR’s range of drill rigs including Skid Steer, Mobile Rigs and Longyear platform drill rigs (underground) and UDR 1200 and UDR1000s (surface)
- Successfully drill holes to design depth and recover core samples as per client requirements
- Responsible for mentoring, training and overseeing Drill Assistants
- Contribute to safety and productivity improvements
- The ability to meet pre-employment criteria including drug and alcohol screening, medical and police clearance is required.
- Fit, healthy and motivated
- First aid qualifications
- Australian or NZ residents - Full working rights in Australia

HMR’s experience ranges from grassroots exploration to large scale definition drilling with primary capabilities including surface drilling (resource models & geo-technical) and underground diamond drilling (grade and exploration). An excellent record, HMR completes projects with high production, on budget, little or no down time, and close to 100% of holes finishing at depth with the highest of recovery. Even the toughest jobs are completed safely, cost effectively and on schedule.
