Rectifier Technologies is a global, high-tech company specialising in innovative design

and manufacturing of medium and high-power conversion modules and systems which

service the industrial controls, public utility, mining, telecommunications, and Electric

Vehicle (EV) charging markets. We are seeking a Junior Production Electronics

Technician to join our team in Australia. This person will support our production team in

the Melbourne office.

The applicant must list in a cover letter their demonstrated experience and proficiency in

all the following items:
Production Assembly, Testing, and Repairs

❖ Testing switch mode power supply > 2kW and controllers
❖ Testing test system racks
❖ Repair of switch mode power supply and controllers and coordination of the RMA

process
❖ Ensure the service databases are update and maintained
❖ Document test procedures and work instructions
❖ Provide feedback to design engineers on re-occurring product faults
❖ Provide feedback to production on material conformance
❖ Ensure service work area, test racks and test equipment are well maintained and

where required test equipment is calibrated
❖ Ensure the lab and workshop area are kept in an orderly and safe condition
❖ Identify electronic components from provided bills of materials and load

components onto PCAs.
❖ Performs general assembly duties as required.

Warehouse

❖ As required ensure finished goods packing are appropriate packed for local and
international shipment

❖ As required perform the picking and packing of all finished goods for dispatch.
❖ As required perform the kitting raw material for the assembly of manufactured

product and for R&D activities.

❖ As required carry out physical stock checks
❖ As required perform warehouse administrative duties, including but not limited to

booking in and out of goods.
❖ As required assist with stock management, including cataloging and labeling

items in stores and placement/picking of items in the store.
❖ As required assist in performing ISO9001 process audits.
❖ Ensure the warehouse area is kept in an orderly and safe condition

Other requirements:
❖ TAFE Level Electrical Engineering (2 year) or higher
❖ Knowledge of power electronics
❖ Experienced user of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Access
❖ Ability to use databases and ERP systems.
❖ Strong English written and verbal communications skills - particularly in the area

of technical documentation.
❖ Ability to communicate across language/cultural boundaries
❖ Ability to learn new skills and software packages as the company adopts them

Must have Australian citizenship or valid permanent resident visa to work in Australia
