**About the role**
- Risk Assessment: Commercial underwriters analyse the risk factors associated with a business seeking insurance or financial services.
- Documentation and Analysis: Gathering and reviewing all relevant documentation provided by the applicant.
- Communication and collaboration with brokers, Insurance agents, and loan officers in order to collect information.

**Overview of this role**
Through this role, you will get the opportunity to work alongside other well-established underwriters in the process of determining the risk level associated with providing insurance coverage for financial services and commercial entities. You will have facilities and support to further your technical skills and develop your career through the prevenient training programs offered by this insurer.

An assistant underwriter looking to move up into a fully-fledged underwriting role or an underwriting looking to progress into senior underwriting. With a growth focussed mindset, who values and contributes to a supportive culture.
