**About the team**:
Central Operations keeps our business moving. Our team cares for, supports, and empowers our retail teams across the country. We help them be at their best, so they can deliver the best experiences for our customers every day.

**About the role**:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced **Project Lead** to support our Senior Checkout Operations Manager to work on some exciting and key projects across Coles Supermarkets nationally.

Key Responsibilities:

- Accountable for delivery of key performance metrics in each project business case
- Provide leadership and direction to the project team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across all functional areas
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines
- Planning and execution of projects, with risks being considered and managed.
- Ensure all key stakeholders are kept updated and supportive
- Ensure projects are planned for success in line with Coles’ strategy and ways of working:

- Activity plan engaged
- Communications on time and effective
- Seamless Implementations
- ‘Stores first’ approach
- will ensure success of projects delivered
- Develop stakeholder engagement plans

**About you and your skills**:
You will have a proven track record of leading large IT/Operational projects and change initiatives along with;
- Strong project management skills with experience in managing large project budgets and delivering complex projects on time and within budget
- Ability to work efficiently in cross-functional teams and build effective relationships with stakeholders
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, Engineering, or Computer Science
- Project management certification, such as PMP or PRINCE2, is preferred but not required
- The availability to travel to regional and interstate locations when required.
