Great Southern Bank is seeking a new Head of Supplier and Third-Party Risk to join the organisation. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you will be responsible for driving excellence in procurement practices and oversee the management of third-party relationships, ensuring the efficiency, effectiveness and compliance of our organisation’s procurement and third-party management processes. You will also be responsible for overseeing and managing the risk associated with our suppliers and third-party relationships, ensuring the security, compliance, and resilience of our organisation’s supply chain.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive procurement strategy aligned with the organisation's goals and objectives, optimising sourcing strategies, vendor selection, and contract negotiations to drive value and mitigate risks.
- Establish and maintain robust policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines for third party management (including procurement) and for assessing, mitigating, and monitoring third-party risks throughout their lifecycle.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, while ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and performance metrics.
- Lead efforts to streamline and enhance procurement processes and workflows, leveraging technology, partners, and best practices to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and improve agility.
- Develop and implement robust processes and controls for assessing, monitoring, and mitigating risks associated with third-party relationships, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Oversee the end-to-end contract management process, from drafting and negotiation to execution and renewal, ensuring contracts are structured to mitigate risks and maximize value for the organization.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies governing procurement and third-party relationships, conducting regular assessments to identify and address any compliance gaps.

**About you**:

- Proven experience (10+ years) of working experience in financial services, third party risk, procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management or a related function.
- Extensive experience (minimum 10 years) in leading teams and managing multiple projects, with a focus on business strategy and optimisation.
- Strong understanding of procurement best practices, contract management principles, and third-party risk management frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing effective governance frameworks/models in a financial institution.
- Experience with procurement technology solutions (e.g. e-procurement systems, contract management software, etc.) preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g. CPS230, ISO20400, NIST etc.)
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CSCP, CRISC, CTPRP, etc.) preferred.
