We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join our friendly team in Canberra on a permanent full-time basis

**The Role**:

- Managing the high volume data entry and processing of invoices for complex client contracts.
- Liaise with internal departments, both regional and global, to ensure all payments are made to providers in accordance with agreed cycles
- Processing bank reconciliation and payment processing.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders daily; responding to queries/requests and managing expectations accordingly.
- Ensure purchase invoices are entered into the system and reconciled back to the provider statements.
- Process internal staff expenses, and prepare and reconcile inter-company cross charges.

**Required**:
The successful person will have:

- 3+ years proven experience in an accounts payable position within the professional services industry, processing high volume invoicing.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
- Strong ability to adapt to changes.
- Desirable is a working knowledge of Oracle (AP Function).
- Desirable is experience working with foreign currency
