**Your role**

At Allens, our business teams are also specialists in their field, using their unique knowledge and expertise to solve critical client and business challenges.

You'll be a part of our Financial Systems team, responsible for driving improvements and introducing new functionality within the business, primarily within the Expert Practice Management system (Expert).

As Financial Systems Analyst your day will include:

- Upgrading existing financial systems and the implementation of new functionality to these systems including configuration; writing business processes; system testing and coordinating user acceptance testing teams.
- Improving and supporting the firm's business critical financial systems.
- Supporting from a user perspective, the maintenance and implementation of effective systems used by the firm to record its financial transactions mainly within the practice management system (Expert) and its interfaces with systems which record supplier and disbursement transactions.
- Operational tasks involving the investigation and resolution of day to day issues which may require liaising with vendors; system set up or configuration changes

This is a full-time, 12 month fixed term contract opportunity however flexibility matters at Allens, so if you are seeking hybrid working or are looking for flexibility in your work, we would be happy to discuss what arrangements would work best for you.

**About you**

You will have:

- Previous financial systems experience, ideally with Expert or Aderant, in a law firm or professional service environment.
- In depth knowledge of systems accounting, implementation and maintenance from a finance perspective.
- The ability to autonomously lead and deliver projects working with different stakeholders across the firm.
- A learning mindset and attitude, with a desire to share your unique perspective to problem solve and add value
- Understanding of the life cycle of a project, with strong organisational, communication and time management skills.
- Experience defining, documenting and implementing acceptance testing procedures as part of overall systems quality control measures.
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that business requirements are met.
- A desire to learn, grow, network, mentor others
