**Responsibilities**:

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team of trades
- Work out the quantity of materials needed for the job by taking surface measurements or by looking at job specifications or drawings
- Be competent in working with plans, measure and mark surfaces to be covered and lay out work
- Prepare of surfaces, removing old tiles, grout, cement and adhesive, fill any holes, clean up
- Form tile beds using concrete, plaster, mastic, cement, glue or mortar utilizing tools such as screeds, brushes and trowels
- Attach tiles to surfaces, using correct adhesive, making sure that patterned tiles match
- Use tile-cutting tools to cut and shape tiles needed for edges, corners, or around obstacles such as fittings and pipes
- Space and even the tiles by using tools such as spirit levels, squares and plumb-lines
- Lay floors of cement, granolithic, terrazzo or similar composition
- Create decorative wall and floor designs by laying and setting mosaic tiles in kitchens, bathrooms and living rooms
- Be competent in full Pool tiling, waterproofing, etc

**Job Skills and Qualifications**

Required:

- Tiling trade qualifications, Cert III or IV
- At least 3 years experience as a tiler
- Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment
- Outstanding attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Strathfield South NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Full Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (preferred)
