**About the role**
We are on the lookout for a super organised and dedicated
**Repairs & Maintenance Coordinator **to join our growing Repairs & Maintenance team in
**Norwest**. This role is a
**full-time** permanent position. Reporting to the Repairs & Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for assisting and advising Strata Committees regarding the repairs and maintenance of common property through issuance of quote requests and work orders.
**Objectives**
- Issue quote requests and work orders after discerning the nature of the issue.
- Liaise with Strata Committees, Strata Managers, Assistant Strata Managers and contractors/suppliers.
- Follow process for identifying appropriate strata committee contacts for approval of sending quote requests or work orders where required.
- Ensure process is followed for identifying appropriate on-site strata contacts for contractor/supplier meetings.
- Follow up of tasks and work orders to ensure works have been undertaken.
- Escalation of tasks to Strata Managers when a major incident will require more in-depth follow up such as structural defects and remediation.
**About you**
- Ideally you will have 1-3 years’ experience in a similar all-rounder Administrative role, but if not, the right attitude and willingness to learn and grow will set you apart from the rest
- As someone experienced in all things admin, you know how to use the basic software like Outlook, Word and Excel. You might also have some experience with CRM and document management systems, or you know how to learn these systems quickly.
- You are willing to undertake a Certificate IV in Strata Management.
- You are happy to engage with customers knowing that “relationships matter”. You are a go getter, know how to problem solved and thrive in an environment where you can be the “solution you seek”.
