Trade Repair Officer role within a Defence Prime based at Amberley

**Your new role**

You will be a vital member of the team, performing tasks to support the day-to-day management in the delivery of repair and maintenance activities by undertaking activities across a range of plant and equipment for maintenance, quality audits and technical inspections relevant to the work being managed. These responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Assist Schedulers regarding maintenance works implementations, performance, service quality and other related matters.
- Assist Schedulers in coordination of maintenance tasks to ensure actions and objectives are achieved.
- Initiate action to prevent non-conformances occurring and identify/record problems and then initiate solutions for action.
- Notify supervisor of any emergent safety or maintenance issues in their line of work.
- Identify parts requirements as necessary and receipts of parts from store for jobs as required.
- Verify subcontractor invoices for billing onto client.
- Ensure relevant safe work processes are provided to subcontractors as necessary.
- Tag and identify individual parts within the process of repair or return.
- Ensure all documents control and data entry associated with work packets is completed.

**What you'll need to succeed**

Your previous experience in a similar role within Maintenance management will lead to your success. You’ll have an understanding of work, health and safety and security awareness to ensure compliance to legislative requirements. You’ll need to possess a state open manual drivers’ licence. Military Integrated Logistics Information System (MILIS) qualifications for warehousing is a must.
