Araluen Botanical Park is located in a sheltered valley in the Darling Ranges approximately 30 kilometres south of Perth, Western Australia, in the suburb of Roleystone. Located within 59 hectares of native Australian bushland, the developed gardens cover 14 hectares within various precincts. Each precinct features various exotic plant species that flourish in the cool micro climate of the Roleystone Perth Hills in Armadale.

**The Role**:
We are currently seeking a hardworking, motivated and proactive Administration & Data Entry Officer to join our high-performing administration team. Reporting to the General Manager, you will provide administrative support in relation to Human Resources and Asset Management. You will have a mature outlook towards your work ethic, take pride in the quality of work you deliver and most importantly be a team player.

**Some of the main duties will include**:

- Provide administration assistance to the GM in relation to a range of human resource matters including but not limited to interpretation of awards and agreements, performance management and training.
- Administer the end-to-end recruiting process of new and seasonal staff.
- Implement and maintain share drives and document control systems.
- General Admin tasks as required.

**Selection Criteria**

**Essential**
- 3+ years proven administration experience
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Proven organisational skills and an ability to meet deadlines and work in a high volume work environment.
- Well-developed administrative and numeracy skills and the capacity to maintain attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise discretion, judgement, initiative, and deal with difficult situations.
- Knowledge of HR legislation, Awards, and Industrial agreements.
- Knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety processes.
- Knowledge of SharePoint.
- Comfortable with the use of MAC.
- National Police Clearance or willing to obtain.
- Medical As part of the selection process, applicants will be required to attend a medical examination with a medical practitioner appointed by Araluen and return a negative result to drug screening
- Note the organisation performs random drug testing under the Health and Safety Guidelines.

**Desirable**
- Good working knowledge of HR legislation, Awards, and Industrial agreements.
- Good working knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety processes.
- Knowledge of SharePoint

This position will be a casual position working approximately 15-20 hours per week.
