EQUANS is currently looking for an experienced Service Delivery Manager to join the Fire & Mechanical team in North Plympton, SA office. Reporting to the State Manager the primary role of the Service Delivery Manager will be to manage and assist the team delivering service call activities in the region across HVAC & Fire Systems. Manage growth and profitability of the service business and will plan, organise, and coordinate all the operational activities to ensure annual operating budgets are met and key performance indicators are achieved.
- Role Overview_
- Contribute to the long-term objectives of the business operation and to the supporting budget driving revenue, EBIT, and profit growth targets
- Contribute to the required reports and forecasts and other items for business review meetings
- Understand market conditions, competitor stance, market share, economic and social trends as well as technological directives as necessary to be at the forefront of the industry and to be acknowledged as a preferred provider of services and products
- Analyse and interpret Pronto reports, outstanding calls, quoted margins, outstanding paperwork and provide feedback
- Manage team performance to cost, quality, delivery, and safety targets and eensure allocated maintenance hours are not exceeded
- Ensure the utilisation of operational resources for the scheduling of service work is maximised and efficient levels are maintained at required standards through the effective use, control, maintenance, and replacement of all department assets including properties, plant, equipment, and fleet.
- Assist with marketing and tendering opportunities performed by the service department and assist with client follow up and servicing as required
- Assist with service quotations and submissions as required in line with Company guidelines
- Contribute to daily sales by generating non-routine sales for repairs, replacements, upgrades, and the like from existing non-routine contracted customers, consistent with the position scope and yearly budgets
- Key skills and experience required _
- Current market experience, 7-10 years relevant work experience in the HVAC or Fire services industry.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in a management capacity
- Demonstrated experience in planning, scheduling, and delivery within a multi technical service business
- Trade certificate and a proven track record of practical and technical competency gained in the HVAC, Fire, or affiliated industry
- Working knowledge of business management systems such as pronto and a like within the HVAC & Fire industry
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills Previous call centre experience in a service delivery environment (preferred)
- Excellent organisational skills & attention to detail
