This client side organisation has an extensive infrastructure network and substantial capital works pipeline which provides job security and excellent benefits. The project pipeline includes significant HV network upgrades over the coming years.

This role reports to the Electrical Infrastructure Manager and is responsible for the coordination of the electrical high voltage (HV) operating and Maintenance activities across the organisation. You will be responsible for maximising plant availability through effective maintenance management, and coordinate and maintain the HV infrastructure which involves:

- HV safety management of the HV permitting system with a focus on business risk mitigation by planning for outages with associated mitigation strategies.
- Delivery of HV operational needs including HV network maintenance and deliver and oversight of HV switching programs.

You will ideally have a relevant trade qualification with a thorough understanding of HV infrastructure network design and operational requirements as applied to an urban precinct environment. In this regard you should have an in depth knowledge of current legislation and standards applicable to HV assets and associated infrastructure. Additionally, substantial experience in the maintenance of electrical infrastructure with a core focus on asset compliance, renewal and disposal of assets and associated networks is also required.
