**About The Role**
This position is responsible for driving and enhancing the hotel’s long-term B&F Marketing strategy under the leadership of the Director of Marketing and in close collaboration with the Director of B&F. This role promotes creative B&F messaging to customers through traditional, digital, and social media channels with the goal of enhancing the image of the individual outlets (Restaurants, Bars and Event Spaces) and the overall hotel. This is an integral role within the marketing, responsible for building marketing plans and targeted marketing campaigns that drives consumer awareness and preference, increase market share, and builds broader brand awareness for W Melbourne’s beverage and food portfolio both within the market, the hotel and Marriott International.
This role supports demand generation campaigns, in response to consumer and market dynamics to grow market share. It strengthens preference amongst key travel consumers (on-folio) and local resident’s (off-folio) through creative and loyalty driven marketing efforts. It collaborates and aligns with internal stakeholders, including B&F operations, communications, brand, digital marketing, content, partnerships, Area Directors of Marketing and Operations, to ensure all efforts are effectively directed to the right lifestyle / dining consumers.
This role must develop and maintain excellent strategic relationships and networks with local media, corporate partners, social influencers and community leaders to drive the positioning and reputation in the local market of the signature outlets as well as the overall hotel. Where necessary, the Marketing Manager - B&F collaborates with the brand team on consistent pull through of B&F relevant brand programs. The Marketing Manager - B&F is also responsible for engaging outlet content on outlet sites and Marriott Bonvoy Asia (if applicable) and nurtures the relationship with the continent B&F marketing team.
**Core Work Activities**
- Strategy and Planning (including promotional calendar)
- Develops and implements cohesive and integrated marketing plans for the B&F outlets inclusive of positioning, promotional and events calendar, public relations, digital/e-commerce channels, and social media
- Manages the B&F marketing budget to achieve business and marketing goals
- Organises and conducts monthly B&F Marketing Meeting attended by Director of Marketing, Director of B&F, Outlet Managers, Chefs, and others
- Evaluates new marketing opportunities for the B&F outlets by keeping up to date with the local market restaurant and bar trends
