**Your role**

The primary purpose of the Grants Accounts Payable Officer role is to ensure accurate and timely processing of grant payments, maintaining detailed records and financial reports. This role ensures compliance with funding agreements and financial regulations, supporting smooth financial operations. The officer also acts as a key contact for grant recipients, assisting with payment and acquittal inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.

**What you’ll do**

As part of the Grants team, you will
- Work closely with grant recipients to build their understanding of funding and acquittal requirements for recipient reporting.
- Coordinate the grant acquittal process.

**What we’re looking for**
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting or equivalent.
- Having an understanding of grants administration process will be beneficial.
- Experience with SmartyGrants or similar highly regarded, however not essential.
