**What’s your role?
As the Head of Digital Sales, you will be responsible for leading the Health Insurance Digital Sales value stream, where you will be accountable for digital sales strategy and delivery to support sales growth across all portfolios including Domestic Retail, Corporate, International Visitors and Students.
**What will your day look like?
In this role you will be accountable for driving sales performance in the digital channel by identifying opportunities and leading the digital sales team to deliver initiatives to meet annual targets. You will lead a talented team of digital product managers and owners across optimisation, digital merchandising, SEO, digital production and sales to design strategies and tactics that will uplift sales volume.
This would include:
- Leading the team that will design, develop and optimise compelling, customer-centric digital sales initiatives to improve digital experience and NPS for varying segments and personas, uplift conversion rate and drive significant sales volume for the digital sales value stream
- Working to execute the digital sales product roadmap by using your product management skills and the practice of experimentation and optimisation to implement compelling, customer-centric digital sales initiatives
- Collaborating with Digital Insights and Analytics to understand and optimise digital sales, including performance reporting in key internal performance forums to senior leaders and HI executives
- Leading the optimisation and experimentation program for HI Digital to support both acquisition and retention outcomes, providing craft leadership and expertise to the business to uplift experimentation maturity at Bupa
- Partnering with the Customer Engagement and Personalisation team to identify key strategic opportunities for growth within the Personalisation Program and increase digital personalisation maturity across upper funnel and sales pathway customer touchpoints
- Working closely with key stakeholders across DRP, this role will drive and collaborate on the identification of customer and commercial opportunities and support the development of a roadmap of initiatives aligned with the Digital Sales strategy to drive sales and conversion outcomes.
- Management of SEO and digital production teams to ensure digital content is optimised to drive sales outcomes and deliver a great customer experience
- Responsibility for the management and development of a high-performing, cross-functional Digital Sales team in the skills and capabilities required, introducing new methodologies and practices that assist in the growth of the Digital Sales capability.

- Demonstrated expertise in digital sales, digital merchandising, performance, product management and technology
- Experience in formulating and executing customer-focused digital strategies in collaboration with proposition development & GTM initiatives
- Personalisation experience on digital channels
- Proven ability to drive results and situational adaptability; creating a culture where organisational performance is prioritised and adaptive approach and demeanour in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations
- Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to develop compelling business cases which incorporate robust commercial modelling
- Proven track record of delivering sales outcomes and driving a high performing team
- Proven and powerful influencing and engagement skills in order to gain buy in and cross functional collaboration
- Ability to flex between strategy and execution, leading the Digital Sales team to have disciplined approaches to product strategy and value deliver
- Ability to work in a fast paced agile environment
- Experience with Adobe Marketing Suite, Tealium and CMS products preferred
