**Job Title**: All-Rounder / Kitchen Hand (With opportunity to be a cook)

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic **All-Rounder / Kitchen Hand** to join our team at Zen & Co. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who is eager to learn and grow in the kitchen. You’ll be involved in a variety of tasks including front counter/ cashier, food preparation, dishwashing, and general kitchen assistance. This role also provides the opportunity to progress into cooking positions for those with the right attitude and potential

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Point of Sale (POS) System Operation: Operate the POS system efficiently, including entering orders, and handling voids or adjustments.
- Packing orders for online orders.
- Customer service: Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service.
- Promote special offers: Inform customers about any special promotions, discounts, or loyalty programs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation at the front, kitchen and food prep areas
- Wash dishes and kitchen equipment, ensuring high standards of hygiene
- Support chefs and kitchen staff during peak times, ensuring efficient service
- Ensure food safety and cleanliness standards are consistently met.

**Key Requirements**:

- A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
- Previous point of sale experience (preferred but not essential)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
