This role will see you finding new opportunities, ideating on how to improve our training and people capability program and building and delivering transformational change. You will partner with our Branches, Contact Centre and Virtual teams and key stakeholders across, Product, Risk, Compliance and Learning & Development and to develop local solutions and drive this transformation.

The Communications Specialist reports to the Manager of Training and Capability and will drive employee engagement and content development for WPB Channels by delivering and creating front line communications that support change and transformation projects. You will play a vital role in improving the overall understanding of products, services, and policies, assisting to shape the method and approach of communication You will possess demonstrable experience in the design and delivery of communication strategies with familiarity of relevant regulations and compliance requirements within Retail Banking.

**Responsibilities**:

- Understanding of how to communicate complex ideas in a simple yet commercially impactful way
- Design and create quality communications to best fit business and stakeholder requirements
- Develop and customize communication resources to create engaging and interactive experiences
- Provide guidance and quality oversight for all front-line communications created
Requirements

**Requirements**:

- Relevant experience creating communication material for a broad range of audiences across a range of organizational complexity.
- Strong understanding of communication principles.
- The ability to exercise independence, use sound judgement and initiative.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
- Strength in analysis and creativity.
- Sound technical skills and familiarity with current technologies and proficiency in developing communication material.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirement in Retail Banking.
