**About the opportunity**

We are on the lookout for a
**Communications Specialists** to join our
**People, Culture and Customer Experience (PCCX) **team. This role is a full-time position and a 6 month fixed term contract role whilst the current incumbent is seconded to a major project. Based primarily in our corporate head office located in the Sydney CBD however you will also have the option to work 5 days at home per fortnight, and we will provide you with the tech you need to be productive in either environment. Reporting to the General Manager, Customer & Employee Experience, as a Communications Specialist you will be responsible for programs that attract, motivate and engage employees, by
- Preparing and publishing the weekly news
- Planning and producing events, such as townhalls, values day, key-note speaker series, community days etc.
- Enabling employee engagement, and storytelling, along the journey to employer of choice
- Working collaboratively across the business to ensure the effective flow of communication, alignment to quality standards and achievement of communication objectives
- Using the Comms Community of Practice planner to ensure oversight of channel mix and optimal management;
- Creating, and editing digital content that ensures our EVP has reach and remains relevant to future and existing employees;
- Delivering on the Digital Workplace project objectives.

Most importantly, in a daily catch up with the PCCX Team, you will share gratitude along with thoughts and recommendations on the best ice cream flavours, marketplace bargains, binge-worthy streaming series, cringe-worthy reality TV dramas and great places to walk, eat, drink, sleep and otherwise experience.

**About You**
The ideal person to join our team may come from a variety of employment backgrounds. Ideally you will have at least 3 years’ experience in corporate communications and have formal qualifications in Communication and Public Relations. You will have experience working across multiple functions and disciplines and can demonstrate a commercial mindset with the ability to prioritise, deliver on time and to an excellent standard.
