**Position details**
- We are seeking a motivated and curious individual to join our Energy Compliance and Enforcement team as an Investigations Officer. This is a unique opportunity to launch your career in regulation and investigations, working at the heart of Victoria's energy sector.
- You'll work closely with a small team of experienced investigators, receiving hands-on support as you assist with collecting and analysing evidence, conducting research, and preparing key case documents like reports and investigation briefs. You'll also gain real-world legal experience supporting work with external law firms and senior counsel on complex matters.
- This role requires a passion for learning, attention to detail and a genuine interest in compliance, law, or the energy sector. You'll also receive excellent opportunities for professional growth, including hands-on experience with high-quality investigations and exposure to formal decision-making processes.

**Multiple roles available. These are fixed term positions until February 2026. The work location for this position is 570 Bourke Street, Melbourne with hybrid work arrangements available.**
