**About the Role**

We have a number of **Residential Support Worker** positions available at our accommodation site in **Ryde**. You will be supporting an individual with complex needs and your responsibilities will include:

- Personal Care assistance **catheter care & bowel management** including daily enemas
- ** Manual Handling **& transferring the client using hoist, 2:1 assist for all transfers.
- Pressure care management & medication administration
- Assist with meals through **PEG Feeding** tube
- Work collaboratively with treating teams and allied health professionals
- Hours available **24/7 **throughout the day & night including active night shifts with additional shifts available at a nearly SDA property

**About you**

As an experienced Disability Support Worker, you will bring with you a wonderful attitude and approach that is client centric. With the client’s needs front and centre you will have/be:

- Experience providing direct support to complex needs clients who require a high level of care & physical assistance to complete daily activities.
- ** Strong Manual Handing skills** including mobile & celling hoist
- Practical knowledge working with individuals with **spinal cord injuries** desirable as well as experience with complex respiratory needs
- Full **Drivers License **preferable
- NDIS Clearance, Working with Children’s Check, National Police Check & Current First Aid & CPR
- Up to date Covid 19 vaccinations including booster shot
