Kingaroy State High School is located in the rural community of the South Burnett, approximately 250 km north-west of Brisbane. Kingaroy High has a proud history of preparing students for their chosen post-school pursuit, thus fulfilling its motto, 'integer et diligens' (integrity and diligence, honest and hardworking).
Kingaroy State High School is a co-educational state high school, officially opening on 8 August 1959. It offers Years 7 to 12. Students are prepared for life by being involved in a diverse range of co-curricular and community activities. These include instrumental music ensembles, sport, public speaking, debating, Duke of Edinburgh, choir, show cattle teams, agriculture and sister school exchanges to Japan.
