**About our Opportunity**

We're looking for an enthusiastic and customer focused Sales Representative to service builder clients across the greater Geelong area. The primary focus of this role will be to service existing clients by visiting them on site in order to take measurements so that orders can be submitted for their showerscreen and wardrobe requirements. The role will predominantly be on the road as you engage with existing customers, though it will also entail canvassing and closing new business opportunities.

You must be confident and able to naturally engage and build rapport, and you will be at ease in your consultative selling approach to develop and maintain customer relationships by offering hands on support from point of contact, sales and right through to after sales support.

**About You**

We’re looking for a self-motivated sales or trade professional with a strong service ethos who thrives in taking the lead in managing their own work schedule. This role is highly autonomous and you will have the ability to run your day as you see fit.

Previous experience in a Sales Representative role within the building industry is advantageous but not essential. Leveraging your ability to build positive relationships, your capability to work through and problem solve, and your negotiation skills will be key to your success in this role. Your ability to learn technical product specifications, measure, quote and conduct plan take-offs will also be key.

Ideally, you will have/bring:

- Trades or trade sales background
- Professional demeanour and excellent communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Experience with CRM software
- Experience reading and interpreting building plans, and taking measurements
- Outstanding work ethic with ability to work autonomously.
