**The Company**
Our client is a global, market leading supplier of genetics to the beef and dairy industry with a well-established business that has serviced Australian Dairy and Beef farmers for decades. As their business continues to grow, the company is seeking to appoint a Sales & Support Representative to their existing team servicing Western Victoria.

**The Position**
The role of Sales & Support Representative will work to ensure that through providing technical advice and developing, implementing and managing successful relationships with new and existing customers, the business continues to grow and remain relevant to its end user / farmer customers. Key to establishing successful relationships with end user customers will be to understand what their commercial drivers are, and responding with appropriate products and services.

To be successful, ideally you will have;
- A passion for the agricultural sector and a desire to build a successful sales career in cattle genetics
- Some sales experience ideally in the agriculture industry but **be prepared to be developed**:

- An understanding and/or experience of dairy production systems and farm performance (both production and commercial)
- Strong communication skills that will allow you to build and maintain credibility at end user level and allow you to be comfortable working in a relationship based, customer facing role
- **Initiative** and an ability to work autonomously but as part of a team
- A solid understanding of technology and an ability to sell a technical product
- Superior organisation and presentation skills.
