Holiday Inn Werribee is a newly opened hotel for Melbourne proudly showcasing the new Holiday Inn open lobby concept. Situated in the heart of the Werribee city centre, being the talk of the town for Werribee and surrounds. The hotel occupies the top 4 floors of the mixed use 12 storey premises and boasts sweeping views right across to the You Yangs and Wyndham Harbour. The hotel offers 150 stylishly appointed guest rooms, gym, outdoor garden courtyard, all day dining in our Rosana Restaurant & Bar and versatile conference and events spaces.

**Your day to day**
As the Night Manager you will be responsible in coordinating and overseeing all hotel operations during the hours of 11pm to 7am. Your principal responsibility is safety and security of guests and ensuring the accurate and timely completion of the night audit function. You will prepare daily reporting for hotel management, assist in reservations, room service and tend to any guest needs which in turn ensures they have a relaxing evening.

You will lead a small team where you will ensure that our guests needs are met in a timely fashion and that our Holiday Inn brand standards are met at all times. At Holiday Inn Werribee, we all work as one team so there will be times where you will assist with duties such as pack down of our Conference and Events spaces, ensuring our public areas are spotless or coordinating a late group check in.

**What we need from you**
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:

- Previous experience within a hotel night team - of a Night Manager or Assistant Night Manager level.
- Be adaptable to all tasks and enjoy a variety in your workload such as reception and concierge duties, financial reporting, cleaning public areas, housekeeping and maintenance responsibilities.
- Strong organisational skills, time management and ability to manage spontaneous requests
- An eye for detail and reporting accuracy
- Previous experience in Opera is desired
- Ability to manage own workload and competing priorities
- A willingness to work as One Team and support other hotel functions during your shift
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate with varied audiences
- A genuine want to expand your leadership skills and experience with a passion for developing others around you
- Unlimited right to work in Australia and ability to also work when required early mornings, afternoons, weekends and public holidays is part of the job
