**About the Role**
National Parks and Wildlife Service has two exciting opportunities for Project Officers to work as part of the close-knit native title team based in Parramatta. Contribute and collaborate to deliver broad joint management responsibilities and new native title management initiatives.
The Project Officer is responsible for providing key research and analysis to support native title policy development and decision-making. The Project officer is responsible for liaising, and maintaining working relationships with, key internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
**Role 1**: The primary focus of this role is to contribute to a broad range of projects relating to native title policy development and implementation supporting NPWS operational areas to better deliver joint management outcomes. **Role 2**: This role’s primary objective is to contribute to coordinating the implementation of Indigenous Land Use Agreements, reporting and evaluating outcomes and informing strategic native title policy and funding proposals. **About You**
As a Project Officer you are adept at managing competing priorities and working collaboratively with inter-connected teams, and across multiple organisations. Ideally, you have exposure to high-volume work within a large complex organisation or similar.
In addition to your strong verbal and written communication skills, you will have proven ability to work with stakeholders to achieve program and project outcomes whilst exercising sound judgement and discretion.
Ideally, you will have detailed knowledge and experience in project and data management.
**Essential Requirements**
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent relevant working experience in project management.
- Experience in development and delivery of projects, including the development of project plans, monitoring of project timelines, budgets and reporting requirements, and contract administration.
