**THE ROLE**:
The Spreader & Cutting Operator is responsible for providing cut garments for make-up as directed by the cutting schedule, on time, to specification while achieving budgeted productivity.

**THE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES**:
The Spreader & Cutting Operator will be responsible for:
**Machine Operation**
- Operate Gerber cutting machines efficiently and accurately according to job specifications.

**Material Handling**
- Load and spread fabric onto the cutting bed and ensure proper alignment for precise cutting.

**Cutting Schedule**
- Ensure work is cut in sequence with the cutting schedule and report and difficulty to the Cutting Room Supervisor.

**Quality Control**
- Conduct regular quality checks of fabric and cut work in accordance with documented procedures.

**Maintenance**
- Perform regular maintenance on Gerber machines.

**Troubleshooting**
- Diagnose and resolve issues with the Gerber machines to minimize downtime and maintain productivity.

**Documentation**
- Maintain accurate records of production, including materials used, cutting parameters, and any issues encountered.

**Factory Support**
- Pending operational requirements, you may be required to assist other areas of the Factory. Training will be provided.

**THE IDEAL CANDIDATE**:

- Proficiency in operating Gerber cutting machines or similar machines.
- Understanding of machine mechanics and ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve issues with cutting machines to minimize downtime.
- Ability to maintain precision and accuracy in cutting operations to meet quality standards.
- Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills.
- Experience with Microsoft D365 is desirable.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication.
