The International Development Unit (IDU) is a self-funded unit that sits within Griffith International. IDU identifies opportunities to deliver Australia Aid and overseas government-funded capacity building projects and professional development short courses that leverage the University’s academic expertise.

The work of the unit aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), contributes to the University’s international profile, and attracts funding to assist with meeting the University’s strategic goals.

**Job Description**:
The Business Coordinator will play a pivotal role in assisting the Manager with the operational, financial and administrative system requirements of the Unit. The Business Coordinator will be vital in supporting all aspects of international projects and programs with reference to developing and implementing efficient business processes, accurate budgeting, finance-based activities, contract approvals, project monitoring, and tracking of milestones in accord with contractual obligations.

**What we can offer**
This is a continuing, full time position and can be primarily based at the Griffith University Nathan campus. As Griffith is a multi-campus University you may be required to work across other campus locations.

The full time equivalent base salary will be HEW Level 6 range $85,287 - $90,972 per annum + 17% superannuation. The total FTE package will be in the range $99,785 - $106,437 per annum.

**Qualifications**:
To be successful in this role, you will have excellent administrative and reporting experience with a high level of communication and collaboration across our stakeholders. You will also have, but not limited to:

- A relevant tertiary qualification and subsequent experience working in a detailed and fast-paced environment.
- High level professional acumen and organisational skills to plan, monitor and deliver projects within Griffith International.
- Proven ability to work well within a team and autonomously.
- Demonstrated high level of proactive work to optimise the Units operational efficiencies and compliances.
- Holds strong communication both written and oral with sound interpersonal skills.
