**About the Role**:
The Finance and Planning Business Partner is a critical role in a team responsible for providing finance business partnering to support financial management and decision making across EPA. You will actively contribute to a positive organisational culture, achieve the highest standards of performance and integrity, and contribute to the delivery of organisational outcomes across all levels of government, industry, and community.

**Duties**:

- Build and maintain professional and collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Deliver financial performance results, providing expert financial advice, information and analysis to enable decision making.
- Support the delivery of the annual budget and quarterly forecasting process.
- Identify and execute process improvements across budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes.

**Skills and experience**
- A relevant tertiary degree and/or post graduate qualifications in accounting, finance or a related discipline.
- A professional qualification as a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent.
- Demonstrated Finance Business Partner experience preferably within VPS or Government
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond to competing priorities
- Ability to adapt to and overcome difficult and challenging situations
- Strong stakeholder management skills and experience proactively partnering with business-wide stakeholders
- Advanced Excel skills with proven ability in creation of Excel models
- Ability to work independently with remote supervision
