**Looking For Male Support Worker**
Support worker duties are assisting the client with community Participation, Assistance in everyday life skills, and Assistance with household tasks. Transporting clients to appointments. Also providing Personal care.
Successful applicant will be expected to have a good understanding of how to support an individual living with disability. Must be passionate about helping others to maintain their quality of life. You'll need to be compassionate, empathetic with strong listening and communication skills to be successful.
**Key Responsibilities Include**:
Build report and collaborate effectively with staff/management, participants, their family and friends to achieve a positive outcome and ensure a smooth flow of service delivery throughout the course of the participants plan.
Assist with liaising with participants family and friends to explore new goals, ambitions, promote and empower participants to achieve their goals and provide a medium of strong communication.
Increase participants skills with your active support and promote independence by enhancing their skills, and personal development.
Provide regular and frequent quality and professional support in line with participants plan, needs, and wants.
Assisting participants with accessing their social community to engage with their friends and social groups to promote a healthier lifestyle.
Implement strategies and programs to develop/enhance participant skills, identify areas of increased support, and opportunities for services to help achieve their goals.
Shifts that are available range from Monday through till Sunday, timings of shift vary.

**Salary**: $31.00 - $36.00 per hour

Licence/Certification:
- First Aid Certification (preferred)
- Working with Children Check (preferred)
- National Police Certificate (preferred)
- Driver Licence (required)
- NDIS Workers Check (preferred)
