Executive Assistant

Job Overview:
As an Executive Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the department by providing comprehensive administrative assistance to the Division President at Mastercard. This 16-month fixed-term contract position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with senior and executive-level management, while contributing to the success of a global leader in payments.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform general administrative duties, including telephone coverage, scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, managing expense reporting, maintaining the management calendar, taking, and distributing meeting minutes, generating copies, screening mail, filing, ordering supplies, and maintaining department records.
- Prepare various types of documentation, such as correspondence, memoranda, reports, presentations, or other assigned materials, using specified software packages.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining the departmental budget, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial guidelines.
- Administer programs, projects, or processes specific to the operating unit, while maintaining spreadsheets or databases to monitor departmental information.
- Conduct research on special topics as assigned, providing valuable insights and analysis.
- Serve as an administrative liaison with internal and external stakeholders, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop and produce reports as assigned, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery.
- May have the opportunity to monitor and coordinate the work of other employees or temporary staff members.

Experience and Qualifications:

- High School education is required, while a college degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in an administrative role within a corporate environment, interfacing with senior and executive-level management, as well as senior customers.
- Strong knowledge of department budgets and proficiency in desktop computer software.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build relationships and interact professionally with various stakeholders.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently while exercising good judgment.
- Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
- Adaptability and resilience in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
