We need you to help with the the promotion and marketing of some of the amazing things that we have planned at Ballarat North Neighbourhood House
- Key Responsibilities and Tasks_
- Support the Coordinator with the development of promotional and marketing tools highlighting the many new and emerging programs and activities being developed at the centre.
- Develop hard copy flyers and newsletters for distribution to community members
- Develop digital promotions and posts for instagram, facebook, the Neighbourhood House website and other platforms.
- Work with MS Office, Canva and/or other desktop publishing suites as required.
- Use a CMS (Content Management System) to update nominated webpages as needed.
- Set up and maintain a e-news template that can used by all to promote activities on a regular basis.
- Provide marketing ideas, insights and strategies on request and support improvements with constructive feedback
- Work according the values, policy and procedures of The Salvation Army at all times including work, health and safety requirements.
- Qualifications, skills and experience_
- Excellent computer skills and experience working with online social media platforms
- Previous experience in desktop publishing and development of promotional flyers
- Marketing qualifications are highly regarded
- Role Requirements_
- The location and hours for this role are negotiable with the supervisor
- This role will be actively representing the Neighborhood House and The Salvation Army out the community so a Police Check will be required.
- Signing a volunteer agreement, role profile and the completion of induction training will be required at the start of work in this role.
