Join Our Team - Mental Health Support Worker (Contractor) - Boondall Area

We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Mental Health Support Worker to join our team as a contractor in the Boondall area. This role requires someone reliable, compassionate, and confident in working independently.

**Job Description**:
**Requirements**:
Experience working with mental health clients
Ability and willingness to drive a disability van (or already licensed to do so)
Must have an ABN (contractor role)
Current Blue Card & NDIS Worker Screening Check
First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain)
Flexible availability and ability to start ASAP
**Responsibilities**:
Provide support and assistance to clients with mental health needs
Assist with transportation in a disability van
Support clients with daily activities, appointments, and community outings
Ensure a safe and supportive environment
Applications will be reviewed as they come in.
- **Responsibilities**_:
- Provide personalised care and assistance to clients as per their individual needs.
- Support clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and mobility assistance.
- Foster a supportive and positive environment for clients.
- Document and report on client progress and any changes in their condition.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure high standards of care.
- **Requirements**_:
- Previous experience in a support or care role is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required based on client needs.

- Cert III in Disability Support or Aged Care (This is where you get paid more as you have the qualifications).
