We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Worker to assist individuals with disabilities in achieving greater independence and enhancing their quality of life. You will support clients with daily living tasks, community participation, and personal goals in a respectful and empowering manner.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care, including hygiene, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Support clients with household tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and shopping
- Assist with medication and health monitoring as required
- Encourage and facilitate participation in community, recreational, and social activities
- Promote independence and assist in developing life skills
- Maintain accurate records and follow care plans
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Uphold client dignity, privacy, and respect at all times

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Certificate III or IV in Disability, Individual Support, or related field (or working toward it)
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Working With Children Check and National Police Clearance
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- patience, and a genuine desire to help others

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $35.00 - $43.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 45 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Shift work

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay
- Penalty rates

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (preferred)

Work Location: In person
