Real Community Services are a dedicated team who provide direct support services, Allied health supports and living options for NDIS, TAC, NIISQ participants. Our mission is to empower individuals by offering personalised support and comprehensive services that enhance their quality of life and promote independence.

We are currently seeking experienced support workers to join our dedicated team at Narangba and surrounding suburbs to provide personal centred care to our participants.

**About the Opportunity**

As Real Community Services continues to grow, so do the opportunities to work with us. We currently have multiple positions opening at Narangba and surrounding suburbs, to support our participants to ensure that they are meeting their goals.

We are looking for support workers who are reliable, warm, respectful and dedicated. We are looking for passionate support workers who can build a strong relationship with our participants, as well as have experience working with ABI, Non
- Verbal, Physical disabilities, mental health as well as children with disabilities.

In this role you will be assisting individuals with various disabilities, helping them prioritise tasks as well as foster a supportive environment, this will help promote their independence as well as their personal growth.

**Other responsibilities may include -**
- Provide individual support and direct care to the participant
- Supporting the participant in the community
- Assisting with domestic duties to create a comfortable environment
- Providing personal care (showering and toileting)
- Medication assistance
- Mentoring & role modelling
- Providing accurate and detailed incident reports, shift notes and shift handovers
- Maintaining client records

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Prior experience supporting clients with disabilities highly desirable
- Must have a valid drivers licence.
- Current Paid employee Blue Card (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain before employment)
- NDIS ‘Worker Orientation’ module (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Full Australian working rights
- Smart phone with internet access
- Two current (within the past 2 years) professional references from a supervisor will be required
