Working as part of the executive team across multiple sites, you will lead a high performing team of professionals in a dynamic and fast paced organisation. **Key responsibilities**
Overall responsibility for a team of high performing health and administrative professionals, manage the day to day running of the hospitals and provide strategic direction to expand the overall service offering in line with the strategic plan and vision.
- Collaborate with CEO in setting and driving organisational vision, operational strategy, expansion and hiring levels.
- Work with the CEO, staff, and board in developing and executing an implementation plan for the strategic growth of the organisation.
- Analyse internal operations and identify areas for process enhancement.
- Directly oversee the day-to-day operations including HR and accounting.
- Build and maintain trusting relationships with staff, key partners, and stakeholders.
- Work with capital partners on optimal structures, engagement, and growth strategies.
- Develop actionable business strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short term and long-term objectives in tandem with the CEO, Executive Director of Nursing, and the Executive Chairman.
- Monitor staff performance, KPI’s and prepare reports and forecasts.
- Help drive the expansion of the current services and ensure the capacity drives the new services.
- Partner with the CEO management to ensure sufficient investment capital is budgeted to achieve growth targets to ensure the company achieves targets for growth and profitability.
- Co-ordinate the priorities of the company and assist in setting the strategic direction and expansion in collaboration with the Board of Management.
- Work with all staff in implementing changes to policies and procedures while ensuring ongoing development of the company’s facilities continuously meeting best practice guidelines.
- Translate strategy into actionable steps for growth, implementing organisation-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operations planning.
- Build a culture that ensures organisational outcomes are adopted and delivered.
- Ensure effective recruiting, on boarding, professional development, performance management, and retention.
- Ensure the requirements of all Statutory and Legislative guidelines are met: (Dept of Health, Private Hospital regulations, ACORN standards, GENCA standards, AS 4187, ISO 9001 & NSQHS Standards).
**Essential qualifications and skills**
- Formal degree qualifications in either Business, Legal or an MBA would be highly regarded
- Five or more years of experience in an executive leadership role in healthcare positions.
- Strong leadership and operational skills with a steadfast resolve and personal integrity.
- An understanding of advance business planning and regulatory issues.
- Sold grasp of data analysis and performance metrics.
- Strong commercial acumen to help grow and drive forward the business service offering.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to diagnose problems quickly and for see potential issues.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Current Drivers Licence.
