SEC Newgate is seeking a motivated tech-savvy individual with a strong background in ICT Governance and Compliance to join our team as an **IT Technology Systems Analyst**. We are open for this role to be based in any of our Australian offices and will be supported by our wider IT and Operations team. This role will assist the Director - IT, Operations and Process, the Chief Data Scientist and the broader SEC Newgate consultancy teams in systems design, process development and compliance measures as they relate to their ways of working. This role will have a direct impact on the management and development of the Security Governance & Compliance requirements for SEC Newgate and will ensure our compliance and policy requirements are managed appropriately.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Management and uplift of SEC Newgate’s data governance framework and compliance measures
- Design, build and manage highly secure, scalable, and available infrastructure and cloud-based infrastructure architectures
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to execute the organisation's cloud and infrastructure strategy, aligning it with SEC Newgate’s objectives and industry best practices
- Assist in the selection, deployment, and management of cloud and infrastructure services, ensuring they meet SEC Newgate’s requirements and adhere to industry compliance and security standards
- Monitor and maintain cloud and infrastructure services, ensuring optimal performance, availability, and disaster recovery capabilities
- Assist in the monitoring of industry developments and encouraging innovation within the business

**Qualification Requirements**
- Tertiary qualifications in a technology/science discipline or relevant industry experience
- Relevant industry certifications in technology or information management, such as: Microsoft AD, Office 365, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, ITIL, or in security and compliance tools and frameworks
- Be a self-starter who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Be well organised and have strong attention to detail
- Be a good team player who is flexible, adaptive and a problem-solver
- Passion to develop and enhance new and existing Governance and Compliance frameworks based on ISO 27001 and ensure the associated governance and compliance tasks are delivered
- Demonstrated experience implementing and/or maintaining an Information Security Management System based on ISO 27001
- Be comfortable working with technical teams to formulate control statements and verify controls compliance
- Industry experience managing and reducing cyber security risk and delivering technology-based projects and initiatives
- Have experience and sound understanding of ICT Security Governance and Compliance activities, including the implementation and/or maintenance of an ISMS
- Have an understanding of the regulatory requirements for Governance and Compliance activities relating to professional consultancies
- Ideally have industry experience transforming and improving technical architecture and IT services
