**Job Summary**:
Opportunity exists within the Bechtel team to work closely with our customers on Mining and Metals (M&M) projects. We are currently seeking an Information Systems and Technology (IS&T) Support. This role supports Bechtel’s project delivery, will initially be based in Perth and will then relocate to the project job site.

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Responds to customers’ needs, questions and concerns and expedites actions in an accurate, effective and timely manner
- Meets regularly with the Project IS&T Lead, Project Information Management Lead and project personnel to understand the overall project needs
- Maintains, Diagnoses and resolves local IT Infrastructure, hardware & software related issues, while seeking to continuously improve incident resolution and customer service standards. Areas of support will include desktop/laptop computer hardware, mobile devices peripherals, networking, video conference, office printing equipment
- Facilitates project systems reporting, data integration and work process review and improvement
- Deploys and provides end user hardware and IT services to internal users in Bechtel offices locally
- Works within a standardised global support model, leveraging established global governance for IS&T services and support, change management, asset management, etc.
- Assists with the procurement of IS&T equipment and participates in the implementation of technical solutions, services and security remediations
- Ability to step into lead role as required to cover support requirements across the project.

**Education and Experience Requirements**:
Industry experience gained through a recognised degree in a STEM-related field, and/or specialised courses in IT, Engineering or related fields, and/or extensive work experience in a STEM-related field.

**Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:
The role requires a strong blend of leadership, stakeholder management, analytical and technical skills. Some key attributes you bring to this role include:

- Flexibility to travel and work on a remote construction jobsite location
- Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors
- Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action
- Builds productive and collaborative internal/external working relationships
- Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Windows 10/11 operating systems and Microsoft 365 products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.) Able to translate technical information into practical terms for discussion and presentation to broad audiences
- Demonstrate a strong safety focus and value the development and maintenance of client relationships that clearly define expectations and responsibilities.
