About the Role
The primary purpose of the Business Consultant is to deliver professional services to Datacom’s local government customers. The Business Consultant plays an integral role contributing to the successful execution of customer engagements and building Datacom’s reputation for quality service.

- Ability to facilitate workshops and lead discussions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proactive working style and mindset
- Ability to identify gaps, key issues and make recommendations to align requirements with product functionality
- Technical mindset including knowledge of XML (Desirable XPATH, HTML, SQL, SSRS reports, JSON, JavaScript, XSLT knowledge)
- Clear written and verbal communication
- Collaborative working style and mindset
- Commercial acumen
- Understanding of Digital and ERP implementations

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with the delivery of solutions to meet the customer’s required outcomes through:

- Business Requirements gathering and functional analysis including identification of any gaps (alignment of customer needs to product capability)
- Facilitate workshops and leading discussions
- Create supporting documentation for project work such as Solution Design documents, Statements of work, estimates and training materials.
- System configuration
- End-to-end testing
- Training
- Issue resolution and UAT support
- Go Live Deployment

**Documentation**:

- Contributing to the development of templates, internal documentation, training materials, processes, and procedures.
- Training and guiding customers on the Datascape Digital solution
